Good morning! As a designer from Automobile Engineering Research Institute of Changan Automobile Company. I am honored to attend this international business conference today. First of all, warmly welcome all leaders and guests here. Your attention is the best support for our design! Thank you! In the following, I would like to introduce Changan Company’s new car – CV8,which will be launched in the market soon. In earlier period of the new century, shocking development speed of auto-industry leads to unprecedented challenges in this industry. Competition in the passenger-car market is particularly fierce; the increasingly growing number of wealthy families brings new market demand; the strategy of Changan Group, known as “mini vehicles as root, focus on saloon cars” is in need of breakthrough concerning cars. With that context, the first intermediate-class car, CV8 is brought before you. Design concept of CV8 is combination of driving comfort and overall protection for passengers. It is produced for white-collar elites, targeting those happy-quality-life pursuing families as core customers. CV8 is a classic product jointly designed by Changan Company and German EDAG Company. Thus, design factors of German elegance, preciseness and Chinese grace, introversion are perfectly integrated. The product design process includes rendering, model, CAE analysis, engineering design, sample car production and tests. After all the pains-taking process, it eventually flashes before customers. Profile of CV8 is featured by dynamic and concise artistic effects. Graceful streamline and distinct edges presents noble style. Inner decoration featured by distinctive layers demonstrates artistic charms of grace, fashion, and technology, giving a brand-new image full of humane care. Whole car design sticks to entire balance of humanization, comfort and safety. It is 4.6m long, 1.8m wide, 1.5m tall, and its wheelbase is 2.65m, forming larger inner space; 2.0L turbine engine is powerful and environment-friendly, which only consumes 6.5L fuel per hundred kilometers on average, achieving perfect integration of power strength and economic efficiency. In terms of safety, body of CV8 employs impact force transmission 3H routes. Impact energy can be effectively transmitted owing to the elaborate designs including front and rear removable impact beams, high-rigidity side beams, as well as high-strength columns. Meanwhile, all passengers can be carefully protected by the driver’s airbag (DAB), passenger’s airbag (PAB), and side safety airbags (SAB). Concerning humanization and comfort, CV8 is equipped with hi-tech products such as automatic cruise computer, DVD, high-quality sound system, ABS, EBD, TCS, electric six-direction adjustable seats, hydraulic power assisted steering, and energy absorption steering stern, providing users with wonderful happy-quality-pursuing living style full of comfort, enjoyment as well as care.
