2003年11月3日，湖南衡阳。搜救人员正在因大火而倒塌的废墟里搜寻幸存者。当日凌晨4时许，衡阳市一商住两用楼突发大火。8时30分，9层高的钢筋水泥框架结构楼房在大火炙烤之下，倾刻间轰然倒塌。20名消防员殉职。
